Grandparents University is a summer academy that brings grandparents and their grandkids ages 8–12 together for two fun-filled days of education and exploration.
Spend two days and one night in the newest residence hall on campus, the beautiful Horizon Village. Eat meals together at Blackhawk Commons. Get to know the UWO Campus by being a part of the Titan Scavenger Hunt!

Visit a veterinary clinic and learn about careers working with animals! Explore what goes on behind the scenes at the zoo!
Master cooking skills! Make and taste delicious food! Learn cake decorating techniques and compete in a cake-decorating contest!
Perform amazing experiments and learn about careers in science! See how science impacts everything around us.
Two Days of Hands-On Fun and Learning
Grandparents and their grandchildren will attend courses in the three “majors,” have fun around campus and spend wonderful quality time with each other. Courses exciting and are age-appropriate for children ages 8–12. All lessons are taught by local professionals.

$230 per adult and $150 per child.
Program fees include lodging, meals, classes, activities, commemorative t-shirt and photo. UW Oshkosh faculty, staff and alumni receive a reduced registration rate. Use code UWOGRAND for a 10 percent discount on registration fees.
